Description of Service

Memex is a personal media library application for iOS and macOS that allows you to organize, annotate, and consume photos, videos, audio files, books (EPUB/PDF), and documents in a unified library. Memex supports local storage and iCloud Drive sync.

Use of the App

• You must be at least 13 years old to use Memex.
• You are responsible for your use of the App and any content you create or access through it.
• You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose.

Subscriptions and Purchases

• Memex may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions for premium features.
• Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. All purchases are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

Your Content

Your files and content remain yours. We claim no ownership over media, documents, annotations, or any other content you create or import into Memex. All content is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud Drive account.

AI Features

Memex may include AI-powered features such as audio transcription. These features run entirely on your device using locally downloaded models. No audio data or transcriptions are sent to external servers.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Memex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
