These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Memex application (“App”). By using Memex, you agree to these Terms.
Memex is a personal media library application for iOS and macOS that allows you to organize, annotate, and consume photos, videos, audio files, books (EPUB/PDF), and documents in a unified library. Memex supports local storage and iCloud Drive sync.
Memex is currently available without a subscription for its core experience. If we introduce paid premium features in the future, we will update these Terms before those features become available.
Your files and content remain yours. We claim no ownership over media, documents, annotations, or any other content you create or import into Memex. All content is stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud Drive account.
Memex may include AI-powered features such as audio transcription. These features run entirely on your device using locally downloaded models. No audio data or transcriptions are sent to external servers.
Memex is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
